In her role as SCD's acquisition point person, Denise defines success as the intersection of vision, people, financial resources, and opportunity. She comes to us with a wealth of experience in the senior living sector. Denise was a principal at Retirement Living Services, a Connecticut-based company that provides a full range of services to sponsors of senior housing communities. Prior to that, she was a financial and analytical consultant to Public Financial Management, Inc. on behalf of its tax-exempt clients, and worked in the investment banking group of Kidder, Peabody & Co.

A strong advocate for the disadvantaged, Denise serves on the board of Our Piece of the Pie, an agency that provides a wide range of support services to the youth of Hartford, CT.

Denise holds a BA in Public Policy from Hamilton College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a Master's degree in Public and Private Management from Yale University's School of Management with a concentration in Finance.
